The Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Fathers is a community of Roman Catholic priests at the service of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement. The Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement is a religious organization under the Pope in Rome which centers on personality development through a personal relationship with Mary, the Mother of God and her son Jesus Christ in the Schoenstatt Shrine. We are guided by the instruction of Schoenstatt’s founder, the Servant of God, Fr. Joseph Kentenich who guided the Movement from its inception in Vallendar, Germany in 1914 until his death in 1968.
Our main area of work is educating married couples and youth through small group meetings and retreats. We seek to form firm, free and priestly personalities who are able to live out their Catholic faith in everyday life. As a united Schoenstatt Family around the world, we work to make a difference instilling Christian social values in society through an organic way of thinking, living and loving. We are available to serve the local Church in whatever service we can offer.
